Following its delivery, the Billing coordinator is responsible for compiling the entire paperwork, ensuring no missing documents in the bills of lading. Accounts receivable takes over from POD, making sure every load is paid by the broker in the shortest possible period, as the client’s profit and the drivers’ salaries heavily depend on how efficient this process is. Last, but not the least, Payroll ensures the truck drivers receive their correct compensation on the correct designated calendar days.
